Who is responsible
The data controller under the GDPR is the operator named above. Write to this address for any question about your data.
Visiting the website
When you open a page of magnet.supercollider.online, of the package docs (package-docs.magnet.supercollider.online) or download from the index, the web server logs your IP address, the time, the requested address, the response and your browser's user agent. These logs are only used to run the service and to keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
The pages load nothing from other servers: no analytics, no tracking, no fonts or scripts from third parties.
Cookies and local storage
The website only sets cookies that it needs to work: a session cookie once you log in, and a cookie that protects forms against forgery (CSRF). The package docs remember the colour theme you choose in your browser's local storage; this never leaves your browser.
Your account
To publish packages you create an account. We store your username, your email address and your password (only as a secure hash), and what you add yourself: your profile text and website, your memberships in package teams and the access tokens you create (also when the magnet command line tool logs in). We need this to provide your account (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your username, profile text and website are public; your email address is never shown to others.
We send you emails to confirm your address, to reset your password and when you are added to or removed from a package's team. They are sent through the mail servers of OVH (OVH SAS, France).
Published packages
Packages are public: their names, versions, files, metadata (such as summary, license and repository) and the username of whoever published a version can be seen and downloaded by anyone. Published versions are never replaced, since projects depend on them; if you want a package or version of yours removed, write to us.
Hosting
magnet runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany. Your data is not passed on to anyone else, unless we are legally required to.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To delete your account, write to mail@supercollider.online. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
